Jedi : Fallen Order

The task was to make a level of Jedi : Fallen Order. The level had to to be on a new planet and had to introduce a new mechanic

  • Creation of the level design and implementation of the blockout

  • Realisation of the layout and the level design document

  • Layout of the various documents

Link to Star Wars  :

  • A constraint was to use an existing planet of the Star Wars universe. 

  • We used Geonosis because various environment have been shown on this planet. 

  • The environments we used are :

    • The desert

    • The droid factory

    • The catacombs

Magnetic Hook  :

  • The hook can be used for plaforming and combat.

  • The magnetic hook can be used to :

    • Stun and get close to the enemies

    • Propel ourselves towards mettalic targets

    • Hang under mettalic targets

The droid factory  :

  • The droid factory is the main area of the level.

  • It is structured with loops to have a sense of backtracking.

  • The main intention is to get a feeling of a level that takes life with the player's action
