Tone contrast :

The idea was to make two area that contrast in tone and in game feel.

The 1st area is more grounded and have darker and colder nuances.

The 2nd area is more aerial and have warmer nuances.
Mecanic requirement :

There are places the player can't go if he doesn't have the required power up.

These places are used to :

Block the main path
-
Hide power ups and collectibles
